every once in a while my mini shows up stark naked- whats going on here?

From my understanding the minis are built in layers and if your computer is slow loading you sometimes see a naked mini.  You are the only one who sees it.

SkylarSpadesPlyr is correct, this is a loading issue. You could try restarting your computer and router to see if this helps. 

Also you could add the following exceptions to your firewall/antivirus:

• pogo.com
• game3.pogo.com
• pogospike-prod.pogo.com
