Franchise Crash

When I attempt to create a new franchise, the game freezes and crashes. It seems to do this with custom rosters but not the downloaded rosters. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hey there, sorry to hear it's crashing on you. 

Do you happen to have the game installed to an external hard drive and have you tried reinstalling the game yet? (If it's external, make sure there aren't any files located on both drives and try installing to the internal. I've seen strange performance issues with some external drives)
