fifa 15 holiday edition

I just bought the holiday edition of fifa 15 through the marketplace on my xbox one and opened it up but it would not give me the Messi on loan in ultimate team or the 2200 points. I have rented the game before, but never bought it, is this effecting it, and if so how can I fifix it
