why count the damage om downed players

Why count the damage on downed players. what does that bring to the game, i am fighting people that can fight back doing damage, and your thirsting downed players who cant fight back. We get squad wiped and we have just about the same damage. FOR WHAT YOU DID NOTHING. You have people thinking there good in ranked and there not. Its ok for pubs but ranked come on, i need to know who can do more then just thirst damage! please fix.
