sims4 can not start game...again

Could you please provide some more info on your issue? Do you get any error messages or is the 'Play' button in Origin client just grayed out?

The start game is greyed out and there is no Obvious way to get it working

@SdVries Do you get a 'Repair Game' option when right clicking the Sims 4 game tile in Origin client after you restart your computer? If the 'Repair Game' option is not available, please choose the 'Check for Updates' option.

no it does not give the option to repair the game, also the check for update button doesn't do anything

Please try the steps in the order below:

1. Manually uninstall Origin
2. Run CCleaner
3. Restart your router/modem and do a Clean Boot
4. Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify
5. Download the latest version of Origin and install the client - make sure to run the setup file with Admin rights
6. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports
7. When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Administrator

Try updating or repairing the game agian after following the steps above.

These steps will not cause you to lose your game data as you will not be uninstalling the game just the Origin client.
