Shopping cart?

Why is there still no shopping cart for all Origin store items?

I know there's a cart of sorts for items that are on sale (kind of buggy, though), but I really wish there was a straight-forward easy-to-use shopping cart option for all items on Origin. Every other game store I use has that, why is Origin still in the past and has not yet implemented such a basic feature?

Yes, this is ridiculous. 

Today I was in the mood to increase my Sims4 collection.. I was literally about to spend $90 - but I can't because your system won't LET me. 

If I use origin in game and click "add to cart" I get an error of "whoops! something went wrong!", and in the store itself I discover that even though you were "working on it" more than 2 years ago, there is still no shopping cart. 

I cannot make 5 seperate transactions - my card will get locked, because my bank is awesome and looks out for me like that. It happened 2 years ago when I tried to buy 3 expansion packs from your * store. 

Come on! 

btw, even the simplest home brewed web stores have shopping carts.. how is it possible that origin and epic can't figure it out?
