my sims 4 on MacBook (which I have downloaded from origin) has been glitching and will not start (it has been showing the loading screen with the green emblem for the past one and a half hour!) I am worried because I try to quit sims it self but it does not let me.
I then tried to quit sims threw origin however that did not work as well, so I went into the settings of the game through origins and pressed “repair”. However this then made the situation worse because now I can’t: shut down the laptop (because a sign pops up saying “sims 4 is still installing” whereas it had been fully downloaded before I pressed play, I also cannot quit origins or cancel the “instalment” of sims 4
Please could you help me in this situation

If that doesn't work, look at this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201150
Then after you regain control, reboot the macbook and click on the origin app and try to repair the game without the game running. Let us know how it goes.
