Origin update error

I got a message when I tried to open the sims 4 that I had to update origin, naturally I did, and ever since my sims have been unable to cook. Whenever I do try, it takes my money, but never completes the action. The symbol that they are about to cook doesnt even show up in their queue, and it doesnt give me my money back. I bought new appliances and that didnt work, got a new sim with no experience, and tried it at a neighbors place, and it still didnt work. I can still use my grill and order pizza, but not being able to cook on the stove gets in the way of leveling up and social events. Please help!

Maireichle97: You have to go to origin, then your games and then right-click on the sims4 icon. Click repair and it should work mileywink:
