Origin is Extremely Buggy

Recently Origin has been incredibly buggy, particularly with chat.

1. Friends appear offline, even though they are online (I also appear offline to my friends even though I am online - and no, status is not set to Invisible)
2. Messages are not received until you log out, then log back in
3. Messages no longer pop up while you are in game, meaning you have to constantly open Origin In-Game to check if someone messaged you
4. There is intense lag just when switching between two chat boxes; sometimes the entire chat freezes and I have to force quit Origin from the Task Manager
5. There is no longer and option for group chat (or I just can't find it, which is still bad layout design)

Before the big change, I never had this many problems with Origin. PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES, or EA will have an even worse reputation than it already does.

Could you create an Origin Error Report for me? If you then reply with the ID # then it would help us identify the cause of these issues.

I also wanted to let you know that we are aware of the issues with the friends list, and that we are currently investigating.
