how do i get a refund for a game. i treated myself to the new battlefront for xmas and after returning from being away on the xmas period. i think the game is utter garbage and want my money back

The automatic Great Game Guarantee expires 24 hours after you first open the game.  A Game Adviser at Help Center could consider extending that time limit.

i am trying to contact someone but not getting any reply and cant find the option to ask for a refund on origin app on pc

If the Great Game Guarantee doesn't allow you to fill in the rest of its blanks, it has expired.  If the Game Adviser is slow responding, consider the season, and ignore the onscreen timer.
