32/64-bit option not available on Sims 4

Hi everyone,

I've been playing the Sims for about 2 years on my laptop without too many issues, apart from that it's really slow. The laptop has a 64-bit sytem.

I recently started playing on a desktop computer, which has a 32-bit system, and immediately noticed the game keeps crashing after a few minutes of gaming. 

I first tried Repairing the game and renaming the user files, without success. So I looked up the system type on the desktop computer and tried to check the settings in Advanced Launch options in Origin, as was recommended.

However, the option to select the system type doesn't show up in Origin on my desktop computer (as you can see on the screenshot), even though it does on my laptop. I'm not on offline mode or anything, and I installed Origin on the desktop one about a week or so ago.

Has anybody had the same issue or would know how to fix it?

Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp%  in the Search field  or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.

Clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/

Restart your machine.

Go in Origin / My Game Library -right click on game icon ,select Repair and Check for Updates.And now try to change.
