cant connect to server on simpsons tapped out

I have tried and tried and tried and tried again, I have closed the game from the multitasking menu, turned on and off my phone turnt wifi off and even uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times but every time I open the app it will come up with the little spinning donut screen it says tap here if you have an origin account so I sign in but keep getting Bart and the message saying can't connect and the retry button which I have also clicked numerous times but it don't do anything, it works fine when I dont sign in please help

Select Tapped Out and next.
Select your platform and next.
Briefly describe your issue and next.
An option to contact a game advisor will come up.

I have tried that, my friend told me to try it on my iPod which I did and having the same issue my friend suggested it could be my account but I don't know what to do to fix it
