can't login since yesterday's update

Since the update yesterday (18/4) (Netherlands) I keep getting the "Cannot Connect to Server, Ugh! Not this screen again" notification.

I have rebooted my device, uninstaled the game, reinstalled the game, but no matter what, I can't get past the screen with Bart holding the cable...

I have been locked out of the game for the past 13 hours, so it seems more than a temporary server hickup.

I am at level 26 and have put real money in the game.

Any thoughts?

I play the Android version (Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 and Samsung Galagy SIII).
