Previous Springfield town

I had a decent Springfield but had stopped playing around February or March of this year. When I came back it told me I had a level 6 Springfield on my account. I assumed it had bugged on me, like back with the sideshow bob bug, and I accepted it as my town. I now see on the forum that I should have said no. Is there anyway I can get my old town back? Please help I don't want to start over, thanks

This is the message progression you should have followed. Considering you did not select no, and loaded up the level 6 as your town, there's a good chance you have saved over your old town and won't be able to get it back.

1. Message: “There is a Level 1 Springfield already on this device.”
                         Is this your Springfield?”
     Action: Click “No” to this being your Springfield.

2: Msg: “You are about to create a brand new Springfield for your Origin Account. You can still access the other            

                Springfield by logging out of Origin later.”

     Action: Click “New”

3: Msg: “Your other device didn’t save your Springfield. Please sign into that device before playing.” 
    Action: Click “Play Now.”

4: Msg: “Some progress made on your other device may be lost.”
    Action: Click “Continue”.

Result: your Springfield.
