IOS user unable to see Android users towns??

I am an IOS user on an IPad mini. I have Andriod users of the Simpsons as friends in my Origin account tab but it says all 3 aren't using the game?! The strange thing is they can see my town as they've planted eggs etc. This is really annoying, is there anything I can do?

Ok, seems to have been sorted by uninstalling the game and then re-installing!
