game needs to be dowmloaded even when i have original

I have bought Battlefield 4 and did the online updates. Origin wants me to download the full game before i can install it again. Why do I need to download the game when I have the original?

You shouldn't need to download it if you've already done it. Do you have the game files somewhere on your computer? If you do then this post might help.
