cant get battlelog web plugin to install

i cant get the battlenet web plugin to install i have downloaded and ran it several times it opens the install and appears to begin then the bar reaches the end the window closes and if i attempt to play the game it just says i have to install the battlelog web plugin??????

How do you clear your cache?

Go to your browse press the control panel press History and then press delete browse history and all your cache will be deleted

Have exact same problem and the suggestion on clearing, also didn't work. Still looking for answer????
