Xbox pc controller freezing battlefield 4

As soon as i start to play the game will freeze.  As i unplug the microsoft controller it unfreezes.  When i plug it back in again it does the same.  I have the latest drivers for the controller and there are no conflicts in the device manager.  Please help

Which version of Windows is installed on your PC and do you use any other gaming devices (like speedpads, gaming keyboards etc.) which requires special drivers?

I recommend to uninstall all Microsoft Xbox-Pad driver. After you deleted your drivers, just plugin your pad and wait for the driver detection window to pop up. Just go through the process and check if it is working now.
