[Xbox ONE] Can't join squads

Whenever I try to join a friends squad through squad join on the main menu I can never see it load. They can see mine and join mine freely but I can never see theirs. I've tried re-installing and everything and it did jack squat. Any ideas on what the issue is? I have a open nat and no strict restrictions
