Retrieving game data after deleting to fix freezing issue?

I have a 1st gen ps3. The game was freezing on every map, with any class and at different times. I deleted the game data as stated in another post to correct the issue. Game has no froze in about 5 matches, however, I lost the primary gun I use, the MTAR21, which is unlocked through an assignment. I re-did the assignemnt to try and unlock it again, but did not unlock. is there a way to restore the game data or at least reset the assignments?

Fixed the problem by re-downloading and installing both china rising map pack and premium.
