BF4 won't run, single or multiplayer

BF4 runs fine on my desktop, but my laptop, not at all.

Its a brand new Lenovo y410p running windows 8.1 64-bit.

The GPU is an Nvidia 755M w/ the latest drivers.

Single Player, not working.
Multiplayer, not working.

Both crash on boot from battlelog.

I tried installing both the files in the redist folder suggested in the EA Help section.

The crashes don't have diagnosable error messages, just "Battlefield 4 has stopped working"

gofasterplease,   I updated to the newest Nvidia beta drivers 334.67 and now i can play BF4.  maybe try this

Hi, I'm presuming you reinstalled the C+ redistributables.

And if you graphic driver is up to date http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us and it dont work then:

-Reinstall DirectX.
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
2:Find file named DXSETUP.exe, right lcik and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR . Install it. It should update your DirectX install.
3: You might need to reboot computer first.
4: try to launch game.

Still doesn't work then....

-Update your Microsoft .NET framework.

Yep ran both the redist C++ files.

My GeForce Driver is up to date.

I tried the .net 4.0 link and it said that mine was up to date.

still doesn't work.

I too have this same problem. I have the y510p Lenovo with nvidia 755m GPU windows 8.1 64bit. I have newest nvidia drivers. I tried all suggestions in this post, still after it says "loading level" on battlelog it crashes.  Even tried reinstalling the game.

Hey, Lost5757, what are we going to do? Running BF4 was a big part of why I bought a big Lenovo.
