Another china rising thread....

★★ Novice

Ok.

I own China Rising through purchasing the digital duluxe edition. I do not own premium. it's past the 17'th of december so I should be able to play anyway.

When china rising originally released for everyone I could play it perfectly fine, then I redownloaded the whole game and origin on a new SSD Installed in my machine. The only copy of BF4 on my machine is on that SSD so it's not like I'm launching from a version on my old HDD.

Every time I launch BF4 on china rising servers it tells me to download and install it. I definitely have downloaded China Rising and I have tried to repair install on both BF4 and China Rising (in the BF4 details page on origin) and it still does not launch. I Can play on any regular BF4 servers still.

TBH I wouldn't care if 60% of the servers weren't on China Rising maps Frown battlefeel plz

★ Guide

Next check out these steps below:

1. Log out and fully exit Origin
2. Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit on the Start Menu Search field and press Enter
3. Navigate through HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
4. Check if there is a folder named Xpack1 under Battlefield 4
If YES -> Click on Xpack1, on the right pane check if there is a string named Installed, the Value data should be True
If NO - right-click on Battlefield 4 > New > Key
