online connection

I purchased a pre-owned copy of battlefield 3 to play online with friends but am unable to connect. I have tried registering but for some reason cannot get an account. can you please help with any information so that I may be able to enjoy this game.

What platform are you on? If PC, you'll want to contact whoever sold you the code, as PC games can't be resold and are tied to the original redeeming account.

If on console, how is it failing? It should work as long as you have an active account for your console's online service.
