Temperature of my Computer

Hej everybody,

I´ve got a big problem. After playing BF3 for about 20min. My system totally shut down. The BIOS said, that the temperature of my Computer is too high, so he shutdown automatically. This was the first time i played BF3 after the "big" Patch. My Graphikoptions are still the same.

Are there some guys, which can help me or have the same problem?

My system: HP Envy 3010, Intel core i7, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7690 XT.

Any information you could provide on the temperatures would be of help. Also check for dust inside of your computer, make sure your fans are not getting clogged.

A good monitoring device for temperatures would be HWmonitor by CPUID.

i instlaled the programm and it looks fine.

So i started to play BF3 15 minutes ago with these dates:

Core#0: 51°C (123F)
Core#1: 51°C (123F)

Core#2: 50°C (122F)

Core#3: 51°C (123F)

12 minutes later i closed BF3 and (belive me or not) got these dates:

Core#0: 97°C (206F)
Core#1: 97°C (206F)

Core#2: 96°C (204F)

Core#3: 95°C (203F)

If someone needs pictures messege me...

I mean almost 100°C are not normal for a Computer (HP Envy 3010).

Check that the fans are working properly. Have happened that they just stop cooling.

The problem is right there, your temps are way too high. Have you checked everything such as dust? Getting a cooling pad for your laptop would help hugely; I recommend them. Also check your fans are spinning, simply put your hands by all the vents to see if there is any air being blown.

they work both perfekt.  My system is around 6 month old. I´m going to check the dust option at friday...

That whole sh*t happend after the Update from Origin or EA.

My Graphikoptions in the Game are now on middle. But nothing chanced.

Sorry, I forgot to say, that I work at a IT company. So i know when the fans are on or not xD but thanks

Today i toughed about to buy a cooling pad, but there have to be a other solutions?

My personal meaning is, that the update installed some Benchmarks and those are running while playing BF3 XDD
