Battlefield 3 Premium Edition - problem with upgrade

I purchased Battlefield 3 Premium Edition from Amazon back in December of 2012. I've enjoyed the game much until today. I started up the game and Origin provided me with a 10 GB update. After downloading the update which took about 20 minutes and allowing it to install itself, I re-booted my PC. I noticed when the WEB interface came up that it displayed Battlefield 3 limited Edition and the game failed to start. I got an error message indicating that the license was invalid? Reason code - 0x0006 

I guess it's time to go back to Call of Duty.
