Battlefield 3 Not Launching

Hey Guys,
I had a Battlefield 3 copy downloaded (reloaded version).I intalled that one instead of downloading the whole game again from Origin. After installing, clicked on play, It took me to battlelog, then it told I had to update my BF3 copy. So, It updated (5GB), then I clicked on play ( Campaign ), Everything was fine on the browser side, but the game doesnt launch at all. By the way I am using Windows 8 RTM.
So please can anybody help me to get it to work.

Thanx for ur help,

None of that worked, I just deleted that game and redownloaded it from origin and then it worked,
But one thing is that I had to uncheck "Run this program as an administrator"

hey

try post your pc specs, and try repair install in origin

are you on 64 bits? or 32?

try this

right click on the desktop shortcut for Origin,,

go to properties > compatibility tab > check off run as administrator > apply

and restart origin..( i restart whole pc just in case) and try again and let us know what happens.

try this:

go to settings in origin, then scroll down!!

1) Uncheck use cloud storage for all games
2) Delete settings folder in C:/Users/your name/My documents/Battlefield 3 (you can make a copy to save in case)
3) It should now work
