Starting every match late, but have the lowest ping and great connection

During beta and before the first patch the game was playing perfectly and I began every match with the drop-in animation.  But since the updates I haven't joined a single game on time, I'm always 15/20s late and miss the early hardpoint captures etc.

Is this a known issue and how do I fix it?!
