Cannot launch game via Steam

Hello. My friend recently gifted me Titanfall 2 on Steam, but every time I try to launch it, it opens a window that has EA written on the top, and is blank and closes within a few seconds. Whenever I try to open Titanfall 2 as admin through its game folder, it opens the EA app like normal but it says something has gone haywire after a brief moment. Same with just opening the EA app all by itself. Any fix for this? Would love to play Titanfall 2 with my friend. Thanks in advance!
Running on Windows 11 by the way.
