Hey, I have the same problem. I had it yesterday as well but I have to use task manager to shut down and couldnt save and it has happened again today? I don't know what to do because I don't want to lose my content?

Try if repairing the game through Origin does anything

I'm playing the game on my laptop and decided to try using Windowed mode. I haven't had any issues since I changed the format.

What about full-windowed mode ? Does that work too ?

Same here! This has happened twice noe and its terribly aggrivating!!

All of a sudden, the cursor gets stuck on the rotating camera thing. I have yet to see a pattern in this. It is incredibly annoying so any and all info on the issue is Mich appreciated!

For anyone else having this issue, if it happens mid-CAS, plug in another mouse then unplug it. Fixes the issue. It seems The Sims 4 gets confused, thinking you're holding down a mouse button when you're not. This resets it.
