Why is it that I cannot log into The Simpsons: Taped Out anymore? I put in the code it asked for then it returns me to the login screen again, where I have to get another code to enter, and so this keeps going on and on.
I have played this game from the start, but I think this will be the end of me playing it, as it is taking too long to log back into the game
(CM: Edited thread title to be more specific to the login issues in this thread)

LET'S MAKE THE POINT:
To date (September 2021) two types of access problems persist with different methods of resolution:
1) I DO NOT RECEIVE THE CODE for acces:
Check that your mailbox is ACTIVE and WORKING (check that you have space on the mail server to receive new emails) and that the code has not accidentally ended up in SPAM; Once this is done, you just have to contact the support team using the method that is most convenient for you. Personally I recommend, for the times and methods required, to avoid contact by EMAIL. By filling out the form you find at the following address (if you don't have a MAYHEM ID, enter 0000 and continue)
you will see all the options available at the moment. CHAT and TELEPHONE are the best, but available on particular days and times (office times). You can also use the Facebook and TWITTER channels to contact the support team:
2) I RECEIVE THE CODE, but when I insert it I get an WRONG CODE message:
I want to remind everyone that the code is ONE and is only valid for 10 minutes, AFTER CHANGING it and you need to request another one. Before going further, it is good to try again several times; maybe you are making a trivial syntax error. IN ANY WAY, to solve the problem, you need to connect to your EA / ORIGIN account
and log in with the old EMAIL and PASSWORD method.
Once inside, do the following:
1) Update and complete your personal data
2) Check that your primary email is correct and that it is VERIFIED
3) Add a second email and a telephone number; you will need them as alternative methods to receive the security codes (Email, Voice or SMS)
5) CHANGE PASSWORD
If you find difficulties or have doubts, I recommend opening a specific post, so other users can advise you, within the limits of our possibilities. I want to remember that we are just players like you, maybe with a little more experience or luck (often it makes a difference) and we don't seem to make EA teams

I am the administrator of two facebook groups dedicated to this game and today I have been giving support to my users for 8 hours, victim of this absurd gimmick. I understand the security reasons that led to this decision, but I don't understand why, before releasing such an important change, you shouldn't try to use it first. This method is not good for all games and not good for this game, especially because it is for MOBILE devices and you cannot read an email without leaving the app (on android due to restart) and also for users who have multiple accounts to manage multiple cities, but with this new method they can no longer access accounts with different emails, without the help of a PC.
This is just my humble opinion, the opinion of one who every day, through social media, gives true support to many users!

This is my problem as well. I play on two different devices. On one - Kindle - I can read my email code from iPad, enter it and am logged into the game. But in order to play on my iPad I have to swipe up/suspend the game to access email. By the time I bring the game up and enter the code I get something like an “Email verified. Check your email. You’re almost done.” message. RIDICULOUS, non? Personally I think if this is designed to make the game more secure, it fails as anyone who knows my email can get a passcode, but no one knows my password.
I, too, hate this. Am currently running four different Springfields, two of which I inherited from my daughters who no longer play and, more importantly, no longer use the email for log in. Due to the length of time I have been using their emails, both addresses have been scrubbed by the ISP due to inactivity, so there is no way to get a code for verification! Looks like I just lost two of my towns.
