Ea FC 24 When Playing Online there is huge delay when i press the controller

“Possible fix guys. Has worked for me although still got input delay in corners and after a hyper motion(which I can turn off). Anyways, only thing I have changed is go to settings > game settings > Display configuration then a few settings has fixed it for me. Frame rate : No limit on fps. The big one is Vertical Sync : Off. I believe that’s the biggest changer. Next, Dynamic Resolution scale: off. Cutscene Quality: Full frame rate. Strand Based Hair: Off. Then the last three either on low - ultimate. For me all of them are on low because of my specs being pretty much the minimum. First game with these settings I didn’t have any of the slow mode which turned into input delay. If yk yk. Please other people try this just because it may be the fix we were all looking for. Again I still have input delay on corners but I can actually defend now! I really hope this fixes your issue and it’s the only thing I have changed since the last time I played.”

EDIT: In addition this is a fix/ improvement for people with input delay who have only experienced this on fc 24 and not previous fifas. Also bug was never effected by the time of day I played it was consistent throughout all of the day at all hrs. Hope you all find a solution!

So I did actually manage to fix this issue. You need to go into your Nvidia GPU Control Panel, add EAFC24 to your list of games in the "Manage 3D Settings" and then set VSync to "Adaptive". I had a huge input delay before but it's fine now.

This is abysmal. Asking the players to change settings, run tests, so on and so forth is unacceptable. It is blatantly obvious the game has not been optimised whatsoever for PC. I remember an issue in 22 where the resolution on series S was horrendous and EA said they would fix it. Guess what: they didn't. This situation STINKS of the same thing.

I presume you are offering full refunds for those that want them given that what you have sold us (a lot of us for somewhere in the region of £100 I might add!) is NOT what was advertised. I would like a full refund of everything I have spent on this game. The price of the game itself and all the money I stupidly spent on FC points believing you would fix the issues in the first patch. Looking forward to your reply.

Hellou. I have been closely monitoring the input delay situation ever since we entered early access on 22nd. Having read hundreds of comments, guides and tech savants reasoning i've come to comclusion - it is what it is. I'm annualy playing fifa since '17. It's the same story every year even more so after Frostbite upgrade. For AMD users looking for a quasi-solution here is what i found out and has been working for me.

In AMD Adrenaline:

-keep general graphic settings on default

-add FC 24 to games by searching for a custom game

-inside FC 24 settings keep it default except for:

  - Vsync = Always OFF

  - Radeon Chill = Your Monitor's refresh rate - 3

Do not play on 144Hz or highter. I've reduced mine to 120, capped the fps with R-Chill and it's somewhat working. Game keeps stable 120 fps with +- 9 ms input lag. Cutscenes and set-pieces are full 120fps, no hitching or stuttering. 

In Game Settings:

-Borderless Fullscreen

-Uncapped FPS

- Vsync OFF

- Set Cutscenes to Half-Refresh Rate

-Graphic details tune to your liking, i've set mine to medium.

Hours it took me to fine tune it to result in minimum input lag which is playable for most of the day.

It's game issue in it's core. It works flawless on 60hz screens and capped fps. They more high-end machine you run and more fps you expect the more input lag you get.

As for our beloved Community Managers. I'm an EA forums enjoyer each year with the same complaints. People like @EA_Aljo or @EA_Darko are the same people that denied all the issues back with FIFA 19. They cannot and will never admit there is a game issue. Forget about hearing that. It's not their job. Admitting to a fault would mean they acknowledge the issue and are working on fix. They are not. They have been deniers for years now. It's most likely "you" problem. They rather make a fool out of you than accept proof. That said, i enjoy FC 24 like every year. Finally it works somewhat good. Community Manager, we all know you are trying to engage and keep the community responsive. But, don't give absurd responses, go speak to your devs and testers and ask them whytf they released the game without  proper UAT and Environment Testing for PC. Every year the game is unplayable for first few weeks, pretty annoying. 

Good that FIFA left you guys! Unless you can release a game that effective, no use of asking the report from users. Works perfect offline, career mode is good. Whenever you play online games, the servers weep like a baby, volta squads sucks, ultimate team online games sucks. 

Its * annoying! If only PES was better, you guys will deliver better games!

Ultimate online input delay is like I want to * today, but the output comes two days later!

how to remove the delay (input lag) on pc?? I tried everything nothing seems to work.

my defenders feel so hard to move because of it.

also, I wasted two penalties until now (pressed on the green timer but the delay made it red)

it is not fair EA why you care about the things that we don't need in game?

how about trying to fix your gameplay first before moving to the other things?

how about making sure that everyone is having a 50%-win chances to make the game kind of fair!!!!

I tried FIFA 17 it was great but then from FIFA 2018 to fc 24 same issue every year. 

I just want to play like other players. 

I switched from ps4 to pc I 1650 super, i3 12100 16 ram 1 Tera SSD (location: Jordan, server: Bahrain, ping: 36 - 44)

everything is great all settings are optimized, but still having a heavy game play with some bad delay.

It's not just PC.

Same for me on Xbox.

Total trash.

Also, the better your internet setup, the more you will be punished.

If you can hook up to some sort of ropey and slow connection, you will get better gameplay.

That is EA for you.
