[MOD RELATED] Can't buy cows, seeds, or chickens??? [ Edited ]

Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal, Nifty Knitting, Tiny Living, Laundry Day, Toddler, Bowling Night, Backyard, Movie Hangout, Spooky, Perfect Patio, Luxury Party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to buy seeds, base game seed packs or the new oversized crop seeds, try to buy a cow/llama, or try to buy chickens.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens. I try to buy cows/seeds/chickens and nothing happens. My sim spends no simoleons, and nothing happens. Everything is usable; nothing blocking the spaces, and I planted old seeds from before and they planted fine.
What do you expect to see? Nothing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I installed Cottage Living.

My sim bought seeds just fine yesterday, it all stopped working when I installed cottage living.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I just purchased the new Cottage Living pack, and I went to purchase chickens and it says I bought them after I click confirm but the chicken coop says empty?

I did try this as i am having the same issues and it does not work for me, i tested all my mods folders but nothing seems to be the issue. It started with the most recent Sims patch update.

Also, all Doors and computers disappear and i cannot place new ones due to ”scripting errors”

Save everyone here some time; if you're playing with mods, the UI_Cheats_Extension package causes this bug (at least, cannot confirm for other mods)
i'm playing with ~50 mods and other additional CAS items, and UI_Cheats was the only mod causing this issue in my modlist. Updating to the current version of UI_Cheats fixes this issue, even though it's not currently listed as a fix in the patchnotes.

Additionally, basemental's d*ugs mod causes issues with placing new buildmode doors until updated. just FYI

Do you still have the option to buy them when clicking on the coop after purchasing 8?
