Sims 4 screen cut off

★ Novice

I'm having trouble with the editing/creating a sim screen on my mac. Everything on the right hand side seems to cut off and I've tried playing about with the screen settings but nothing is working. I hope someone can help! (I've attached what it looks like plus my current screen settings).

Re: Sims 4 screen cut off

@nightmariie  Try pulling your options.ini file out of your TS4 game folder (the one in Documents).  This will reset your graphics settings to defaults.

If that doesn't help, you can pull your entire game folder out of Documents and onto your desktop.  Launch the game again, and a clean folder will spawn with no content.  If the graphics have returned to normal, you can transfer your saves and other content (in the tray) from the old folder to the new one.

Hey! Unfortunately neither of these options worked for me. So now I’m not sure what to do. Frown

@nightmariie

Could you try toggling between fullscreen and windowed mode by holding down CTRL, CMD and F and see if that helps.

@nightmariie Reset all graphics options and use display type “windowed”
