[FIXED] Upgraded to macOS Ventura - can only Force Quit the game [ Edited ]

I have upgraded to Ventura and I can only exit the Sims 4 via Force Quitting. I saw the other thread about disabling origin in game, but it has still not fixed my issue. Is there any other possible fix? Here are my specs:

MacBook Pro

13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports

Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

Graphic: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB

Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

macOS: Ventura

Storage: 25.23GB available of 121.02BG

Could my storage space be the problem? I dont have any other apps running in the background and I do not have iCloud Storage or Optimize Mac Storage. If you have any questions for me, please let me know.

Hello.

It turns out there was indeed a fix for this issue in todays' patch (Mac version 1.95.207.1230), but we accidentally failed to mention it in the patch notes.

I am also having this problem since upgrading to Ventura. Im on an iMac.

Can you all save ok?

Try repairing the game in Origin

Disable Origin in-game

If it still happens start with a new clean Sims 4 folder by moving your current folder to the desktop and then launch the game. Once you get to the main menu immediately quit. Does it work properly?

@LexiO6  - can you please provide full Mac specs as the others have in this thread.

I can save but as soon as I go save and quit, it freezes and never quits

I am also having this issue. I have repaired the game twice, backed up my folders and uninstalled twice and even completely started from scratch and still having to force quit when exiting. No matter if I save and exit or if I just exit.

I am also experiencing this after upgrading my MacBook to Ventura OS. My saves haven't been affected as of yet as long as I save first before force quitting. I do use mods and cc. My game is currently updated with the latest patch.
