Whenever I try to register a new account, it has the exact same damned error message, "An unknown error occurred during registration. Please try again."
My password is correct, my email is correct, and I have an EA account. Nothing works. It's not the password or email, since that shows a different error. It's not the screen name, as I typed in random letters and still got the message. I can't do anything relating to CDs of the game because I bought it on steam and don't have a physical copy. What am I doing wrong? Did EA shut the servers down? I heard it came up whenever the servers were under maintenance, but I've been trying at it for months at this point.
Other than the complete and utter inability to get an account, I can access and play everything else just fine.
