Hello all, I purchased the disc version of spore over a decade ago, played it on a pretty bad laptop, and eventually stopped
playing when the laptop died. Now a decade later I came across the game while unpacking. So I decided to install it again on my current laptop.
went through the whole install process, entered my code that’s on the back of my game manual, but when I go to launch the game it just says “The game can not start. The game needs access to the internet in order to verify ownership of this game. Please ensure that your computer is online and try again”
my computer is online, and I’ve tried multiple times now. I tried to redeem the code on the EA app as well but it tells me it’s already been redeemed (obviously since I redeemed it when I bought it over a decade ago). What can I do?
