origin client can't detect my game and can't recover, game's still in the computer

@botarnich - can you give us some more information? What is your operating system - MacOS or Windows? What version?
If you have a Mac, Apple dropped support for 32-bit games like SimCity, beginning with MacOS Catalina 10.15. There is more information in this post: https://answers.ea.com/t5/SimCity-2013/Mac-SimCity-and-MacOS-Catalina/m-p/8298578#M127940 , including some options for running 32-bit games after upgrading to Catalina (or Big Sur).
If you have a PC, is this a new install or were you able to play the game before and it's not working now? What version of Windows are you running? What does the Origin client show in the My Library tab? You may have to reinstall or repair.
