discover universty is not working

hi something weird is going on because I just got the sims 4 discover university and I put the code in on the ea app and it said it was downloaded so I opened the game where it also said it was downloaded but nothing was showing up. i looked at the my packs page where it said I needed to reset the app so I did that and I repaired it. I've also already checked if it was legacy edition and it is not. i don't have the sims4 demo either. I don't know whats wrong but I would love some help.

@aviie1  Please open My Collection, click the Sims 4 icon, click Manage > Manage Add-ons, find Discover University on the list, and see whether you can download it.  If you can't download DU, clear the EA App's cache and try again.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Origin and downloading the pack from there.

This happened to me too. My university pack says it is downloaded but it won’t show when I open the game. I have re-installed both all my games and origin and it still won’t work. I have contacted the staff of EA and they told me to write here … I have also cleared the cache and tried to repair the game. Could someone please help me?

@HildaD20  Do you have the Sims 4 CAS Demo installed?  If so, please see this thread:

If this isn't the issue, please let me know what patch level of the game you're running.  Load Sims 4 to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look along the bottom of the screen or in the lower-right area.  Please list the entire version number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.

@puzzlezaddict Thank you! I have the origin app and I don’t know where to find the demo if I have it, this thread is for EA app. Where do I check this in origin?

My version number is: 1.93.146.1620

@HildaD20  You're running the Legacy Edition of Sims 4, which doesn't support any packs released after October 2019.  Discover University is the first pack not supported, so while you can install it, the data won't load.  Please see this thread for more information about the Legacy Edition in macOS:
