Why is there 2 discs in the Sims 4? Does the second one have limted edition content?

The installation is up to 8.5gb if I remember correctly, so my best guess is that one disc holds up to 5 or 6gb, while the second disc holds the last 2 or 3gb. While the limited content is downloaded through Origin, depending on the edition you have gotten.

You should be prompted for the second unless your game downloaded instead of installed from disc.
