The Sims 4: Get to Work Crash

I bought a hard copy of the game and installed it. It started off fine but then an error came up which disappeared quickly so i don't know what the error was, however the expansion pack still seemed to install but when i went to click play the screen went black as if it was going to start and then it cut off and went back to my desktop. Every time i click to play the game it does the same thing, I've re-installed Sims 4 (the error didn't come up this time and took 4 hours to install) and it still doesn't work and i don't know how to uninstall the expansion pack to see if re-installing the expansion pack will help, because the game isn't anywhere in my computer (unless it merges with the Sims 4 base game so i have actually re-installed Sims Get To Work with out realising). I've also used the repair option on the base game and the expansion pack and that didn't work and launched the game through various ways which didn't work. The furthest I've got is make it to the home screen but it crashed when i was selecting a family to load. i don't know what to do now as i feel I've tried everything.

Your graphics drives are from 2009. Try updating them from the AMD site: http://support.amd.com/en-us

It might not work with that card though. Did it never work for you ?

The base game Sims 4 always worked for me however there were glitches in it such as showing coding rather than writing and the world and home screen having green and black lines streaking across it however it all worked perfectly fine.

The code issue is a problem with the language files (check the thread current issues)

As for the lines, that's probably your graphics card not being good enough. Could be that Get To Work put it over the edge (not working wise).
