Sims 4 Long Loading Screens

★★ Novice

Since I started playing Sims 4, all of the loading screens have been very long. At least 2-3 minutes each, regardless of what my sims are doing - traveling between lots, changing appearance in the mirror, changing outfits, etc. - all the loading screens are long.

I'm using a brand new PC and it exceeds all the minimum requirements for the game. Am I the only one with this problem and how can I fix it?

I'm having the same issue. It's not the computer because mine is a new high end gaming one.

I have the loading screen moving as normal, but than it freezes for like 1 minute, and then it continues normally. And that is every loading screen, which is making it quite frustrating to play.

I tried removing the mods, but it still does it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584/

@endless02 Graphic chip doesn't fulfill the minimum requirements. You have no dedicated memory. Can't say if you have a card as well. Doesn't show in your DxDiag.

@AlexFetsis Looks good

@Intriligator You have a dual graphics card system. Make sure it runs on the card. Also you seem to have beta sound drivers. You might wanna revert to release ones

All try clearing your cache files: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/

Could you start a new game for testing purposes to see if it has the same issue.

What can I buy to get the minimum required graphics and dedicated memory?
