How do you find sims not in a house in either OS or WC?

My sim had two babies with a sim in the game, but I cannot find her anywhere. Its really annoying as my sim wants to know his kids, and there are no interactions with the babies. How do I find them?

i'd try this too  try the manage worlds-households to see if you can find the family and move them in your other sims house to see if the family ties are/get connected  launch the game do a save as new name then try the manage worlds-households if it works good if not no loss per-say and the original save game is safe as it could be  missing babies/sims bug too

What happens when you double click on the babies faces in the bottom bar?

Thank you!! I moved them into a household and my sim can now visit them
