Am unable to change keyboard layout from qwerty to azerty

Hello!

Every time I update my game, my keyboard layout in the game automatically changes from azerty to qwerty. I used to be able to change it back by pressing alt-shift in the main menu, but now that no longer works.

I've also tried windows key + spacebar, as well as fiddling around with my language and keyboard settings, but to no avail!

I'd really like to fix this, since it's sort of impossible to play the game like this :')

@Puella_Parva  What language is Sims 4 installed in?  What about Windows and the EA App?  Additionally, do you have both keyboard layouts enabled in Windows, and if so, does it help to remove the QWERTY layout?

Hey! Thanks for the reply! 

Everything is just in English, but I only have an azerty keyboard layout active on my laptop right now. 

I've tried changing my ea app to French and my windows to Dutch (Belgian), since I know those are regions that use azerty, but without any luck so far :/
