The latest patch added Dobly Atmos into the game.
First of all, I can only select it when the Windows Sound Settings are at 48Khz or lower.
More importantly: When I select Dolby Atmos inside Battlefront, I get no Sound at all.
I testet my Denon AVR with Atmos movies before so I know Atmos bitstreaming works on my Computer.

SOLVED
For everyone having this Problem as well:
Make sure you have the latest Drivers (Sound and Graphics),
check you're on the latest Version of Windows 10,
run the game as an Administrator and
flush your DNS Cache.
If the Option "Dolby Atmos" is greyed out inside the game, make sure you're sending Audio through HDMI.
Also Change your Audio Resolution to 48Khz 16 bit (don't know why that's necesary).
Hope I could help someone with these tips.

Just checked, 48 Khz 24 bit works as well.
February 2016
It doesn't work for me with 16-bit 48 Khz audio settings but it does with 24-bit 48 Khz.
Go figure.
September 2016
I have tried both 48khz 16bit and 48khz 24bit, but still no Dolby Atmos option selectable. I find it strange seeing as I am able to get Dolby Atmos on other games that support it.

What are the other games where Dolby Atmos can be used? Just curious.

I am sure @mrjapa, you can Google this
I do enjoy a good sound quality myself, and it can be hard to set it up and running with a lot of custom options. But the real Star Wars masterpiece sound right in your home is totally worth it.
Have fun playing Battlefront!

Sorry @MikelG00, but no official info was released on this issue so far. I do hope it will support Atmos, if not at the start, then maybe a few patches later. The sound in BF1 is awesome! And shooters are the best way to experience Dolby Atmos.
