Link PSN acount to EA account

★★★ Newbie

I'm having trouble linking my PSN account to my EA account.  Looking at the screens on Star Wars Battlefront, I think I have an old EA account set up with a disused email address that I no longer have access to.

How can I link my PSN account to my new EA account?  I can't see anything on this site to let me do this, I can't even see a way to sign out of the EA account in Battlefront.

Hey there @Doktor_Kafka

The linking process itself is automatic so there is no button for that. You can change details on your EA Account's themselves though.

From this guidance : https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag/#linka...

"

  • If your Gamertag and/or PSN ID are linked to an account you don’t use, you can update that account to get back in the game.
  • If you made a second account with your primary email address, you can move the email to the account with your games.
  • If you’ve got multiple EA Accounts with games on them, one of our advisors may be able to help combine your accounts.

If we move a PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag on it to another account, that’s called a persona transfer. Persona transfers are risky and can be damaging to one or more of your accounts."

If you decide that you want to go on with a persona transfer, here is the link to the support : https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

Generally since you no longer have access to the e-mail on your old EA Account, it might be for the best that you contact the support for this case as it can be difficult to change the details on that account by yourself without access to your e-mail.

If you have any further questions how to contact the support, here's a link for that : http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/How-to-contact-an-Advisor-via-EA-Help/td-p/5650100

Good luck !
