Seasons - opponent quits losing game but match doesn’t count (no win, no los

It always happens to me whenever I reach dv1 and the opponent is losing maybe last minute 92 then the game become unplayable then it quits but the match won't count it's very very annoying because you put in much effort but later it's in vain, first I was blaming my internet not knowing this is the cause

I've not been playing long, highest I've got to is division 4. I do rage quit but only if I need points to secure promotion and I'm 5-3 down in the 90th minute  or something, it always counts as a loss for me and I'll take that as i wasn't going to get any points anyway. I don't understand folk that quit in the first half, I've seen myself coming back from 3 goals down in the first half to win 4-3 

Anyway, today I had two games left to play and I needed 1 point for promotion back to division 4. First game I played against an opponent who used Man United. I was 2-1 down at the end of the first half, then he scored an OG after my player hit a shot at goal and he accidentally put it into his own net. Then he started trying to act cocky, bringing his keeper out etc, so I took advantage and scored in the 80th minute to make it 3-2 and he quit and the game didn't count as a win, loss or draw. Next game I played PSG as usual and got beat 4-3 and then I played Real Madrid and got beat 5-3. The game that "never existed" cost me promotion. Looking at it positively though, I should have played better in the other two games and I would have got at least a point, so maybe I just didn't deserve to move up a division at that time.

Happening in Fifa 23 as well. Players quitting when losing badly. And the system doesn’t count my win. * irritating

Happened to me today, no connection issue, have a great connection.  I was time wasting having gone 3-2 up late in the game - like last minute or so.  He clearly rage quit but it doesn't count as a match !?

I think we can claim a payment from EA, all of us have spent so much time and finally found a bug. So we should be paid as a quality assurance specialist with $40/hour.

@hspilla It happened to me on EAFC24, last minute the guy quit and I was winning by 1 but the game never counted as a win for me. I message the guy and he knew he did something but when I asked him he got defensive and telling me I’m trash. This EA game is trash. EA games are so rigged and full of cheaters!

@JJB008 Yeah it happened to me a couple of times in FC24. Another thing I don't get that I've seen a lot of is I'll score a goal  then opponent kicks off and just stands there with the ball for the rest of the first half. I've just had someone do that just now, so I took the ball off him and I just stood there and he quit. I guess my opponent was hoping that I would be so frustrated and quit and then I get a loss.People who timewaste for the majority of the game annoy me, I don't play this game to watch someone pass it about amongst their defence. Someone a few days ago winning by 3 goals, I scored 2 to make it 3-2 in the first half, there's still 15 minutes of the first half to go,  then my opponent just timewasted for the rest of the first half and the whole of the second passing it back and fourth between his defenders. my opponent scored 3 against me already, I scored 2 and there's still a lot of the game to be played then it's a good game in my opinion.

I had enough with not getting 3 points when people left game early when they are losing!
