stuck on the title screen!

I just paid $60 for a game that I cant hardly play, the so called "work-arounds" have been useless, and while it did at one point let me join into someone else's online game, I cant even do that any more,  and then through reading posts I find that this is an Ongoing issue from 2 weeks ago! this is pitiful, I've never had an issue with a game like this, and it's an EA game at that! so now I have paid for a game that I've gotten two hours of play in 3 days!
