Struggling to put infant in crib.

Hello, I've just got the infant update, and I'm struggling to just put the infant in the crib without my sim promptly taking them back out and putting them on the floor - it's incredibly frustrating. Is there going to be a similar feature of locking a highchair anytime soon?

@FloweredHearts Are you using custom baby cribs ? Those are broken and need to be removed until updated.

Or any other mods/cc ?

Hello! Thank you for offering a solution - It's not, unfortunately. I removed my other CC cribs with the potential for those breaking in mind
It's just the Blandco Cribs that's base game, but I appreciate your help!

@FloweredHearts Did you test on a vanilla folder with no mods/cc at all and deleted the localthumbcache file ?

I am also having similar issues. When I click on the put infant to sleep, my adult sims have the "can't walk there" thought bubble pop up.

me too, but mine said that the sims can't reach the place or they can't walk to the crib when there's nothing on the way

Hi! I am also having this issue. It is the crib version of when you would place a toddler in a highchair and then the parents would immediately take them out once the toddler complained. There is a mod to help with the highchair, but it doesn't seem to help with the cribs at all.

I'm also experiencing the similar issue. My Sim recently gave birth, and social services was nice to provided a complimentary bassinet, however I want to put the baby in the crib but there is no option for that. I've attempted to troubleshoot to no avail. When I click on the crib, more choices and "baby care" there is no option. I do the same with the crib, and same. The crib came with the house I purchased from the gallery, so I replaced it with another and nothing?  I'm baffled. 🤯

@Shawnie48 Are you talking about the infant or the baby ? The baby should be in the crib automatically as it's tied to it (it's basically an object).

For infants there are special infant cribs you need to use.
