The issue with credit cards from Denmark has been known since at least September last year see https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/Can-t-Subscribe/m-p/11839052/highlight/true#M...

 

not sure what has caused the issue it has something to do with the additional security from Denmark only

Edit: in these cases the transactions are rejected by the card bank/issurer

Did this get sorted? and if so how? I am having the same issue, tried resetting my ea password. Tried paying with paypal rather than my card but everytime I try I keep getting this same message. Becoming very infuriating.

I have have since just gotten the subscription to go through but it still came up with the error message for some reason even though the payment went through so hopefully it is sorted now.

Support can see you are subscribed now , and they see no issue with your account , from their end they can see previous attempts are marked as declined by the bank for some reason

Right. I just tried randomly to see if it worked. Now it passed without a hitch. I'm apparently a subscriber with a functional 6-month subscription.

The way EA's systems work is actively genociding my poor, remaining braincells. Anyways, @proxos666, you wouldn't happen to know the whereabouts of a link, where I can request a refund for the purchase of those two months, so the apparently now functional subscription can run instead, as it was supposed to from the start?

to request a refund for a purchase from swtor.com , you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open
