CAS columns look odd after the last patch. [ Edited ]

So when I go into CAS I have these weird vertical lines behind my first two columns; one is yellow-ish and the other is grey-ish. I never had this issue before the latest patch. It looks like a DNA sign as the top...like something from Cats and Dogs maybe? When I take the more columns mod out of the game it disappears; but does this mod just not work anymore with the game? I've attached a picture, what can I do to get rid of this?

In that case the mod might be outdated - it will only work properly once the creator has updated it and you download the update
